I gave advice!! In your face, Lauren! I gave good advice too. I'm not supposed to say the name, only if he let's me.

Anyway, today was the first day at Hamilton Middle. I wasn't excited as Lauren was. I wore regular slacks and a t-shirt I got from Grandma two years ago. I wore my army sweatshirt over top of that. I did have a crush, however, She must've been sick because I didn't see Julia anywhere at school. At least Lauren wasn't Julia's best friend. Hopefully that never happens. Anyway, I knew she'd be there because, my Mom said she was moving in the house next to us. I caught a glimpse of her in the bedroom across from mine and I knew it was destiny. I wore these stupid boots my Mom made me wear because she hated my skateboarding shoes but I loved them. I shoved them in my army backpack and left with Lauren for school. I hated her stupid cell phone texting crud. I didn't even have texting. I exclusively said no. But, I knew Jason was going to talk me into getting texting. What happened to calling anyway? When I got in Hamilton, I completely ignored my sister, looking around for Julia more then Jason or Robert. Then I saw Jason talking to Maddie and I knew Lauren was going to get a mouthful and I chuckled to myself. I ignored Jason, looking for the new girl next door, Julia. Nowhere to be found. Maybe she was a high school student. Nah. Whatever. She didn't know me..that was an issue. I called mom from the payphone in the hallway and here's our conversation:

Me: Mom!
Mom: What? Is everything okay, honey?
Me: *Rolls eyes at her Momness* Yes, yes, Mom, nevermind that.
Mom: Well then what is it? Get to class!
Me: *Thinking: she must've realized I was at school and my cell phone was in my locker* Can you tell Julia about me?
Mom: *A long sigh* Sure whatever.

Then a click and we hung up. "Yes!" I said, pounding my fists in the air. Then, I went to first class. Life at middle school went easy. Why? Well, I'll tell you why. Half the teachers are either A. Old, B. Have hearing problems, C. Have snoring issues and some type of issue or all of them. Or deaf. The art teachers' are deaf. So, then I went to Art where I finally met Mrs. Goldstein- the "worst" teacher in school. When I came in, students were having a paint fight with her. Whatever you through at her- she'd through back. They'd scream curse words occasionally too. I joined in and it was the best class today.

So today at Lunch time- I went to get some pizza from the lunch line because I refused for Mom to make me lunch. Mom had no job and I was always telling her to get one. Dad was the only one, and he was off at a business trip at the moment. I hated when he left. He used to be in the military. Lauren hates talking about him because they were never close like we were. So, I grabbed my pizza and sat down next to Jason and Robert. Then I found out, I had a glob of chocolate pudding. Never. Eat. Chocolate. Pudding. From. The. School. I didn't notice it at first. I ate a piece of my pizza, and I tasted something very weird. Everyone moved away from me. I found out why. My face turned green and I ran to the bathroom. Three minutes later I came back. One lesson learned: Never eat school pizza or school chocolate pudding. Especially not together.

Then the thing that saved the day, Robert and I went to Jason's house. I witnessed him ask out my sister. Why her? Maddie was perfectly fine. Then, we went to the mall. I watched her HUG my best friend! So stupid- Wow! My Mom picked us up and we left. At least Jason was grateful enough to still hang out with her, despite her embarrassing greeting. I still remember that.
